Veterans Memorial 10th Anniversary Celebration
Armed Forces Day - Saturday, May 18, 2013 @ 10 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE:

The ceremony previously scheduled for 10 a.m. at the MAC's outdoor Veterans Memorial, 544 N. Sequim Ave., has been canceled and the Vietnam veterans history exhibit opening reception time moved up in its place.

All are encouraged to attend the free opening reception to open the new Vietnam veterans history exhibit, which includes military items and photographs loaned by local Vietnam veterans, a Quilt of Valor by the Friendship Quilters, and a new Olympic Peninsula Doll Club display of military dolls.

As of May 2012, the memorial includes 157 tiles.

Update: As of mid-March 2013, the memorial includes 184 tiles!

Engraved tiles recognizing veterans of all U.S. military branches as well as veterans service organizations form the Veterans Memorial, located at the flagpole at the MAC's DeWitt Administration Center, 544 N. Sequim Ave. in Sequim.
