In recognition of National Dairy Month and the historical significance of the dairy industry in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, the Museum & Arts Center is focusing on artwork depicting barns for its Featured Artist of the Month exhibit for June 2009.

The works of local artists, whose creations range from photographs and watercolors to acrylic and other media, will be on exhibit through June 27th at the MAC Exhibit Center.

In conjunction with the Celebrate Barn Art exhibit, the MAC hosted an artist's demo featuring Priscilla Messner-Patterson on Saturday, June 13th, from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Exhibit Center. She has exhibited in Great Britain and the Netherlands, and has won awards and honors from the American Society of Aviation Artists, Simulflite, and Aviation Week and Space Technology.
