Field TripsCall (360) 681-2257 to schedule field trips. We can open earlier than 10 a.m. for your class. Now Available: History Trunk!Would you like the new Hands-On-History Trunk to make a voyage to your classroom this fall? The History Trunk contains primary source information and artifacts for your students. Unlike regular museum artifacts, these are authentic "hands-on" historical objects, including a photograph album, clothing, and small everyday items from the early 1900s. Let your students experience the dexterity needed to use a buttonhook on high button shoes. There are photos of Sequim in the early 1900s, and students will learn that some of these buildings still exist in Sequim today. Volunteer Barbara Allen researched the Washington State Essential Learning Requirements so that the History Trunk becomes a learning tool. Our goal is to provide teachers with an additional resource for their curriculum. Your input can be an important part of this project.
