Rotating History Exhibits:

  • Ongoing Exhibit: "Farms & Barns to 1916" & "Farms & Barns: 1917-1935" (first two installments now on display)
    • Opening in June 2013: "Cow and Forever" Dairies & Creameries Exhibit
  • October 2012: John Wayne Marina / Pitship Point exhibit
  • July 2012: Bugge exhibit (CLICK HERE for details)
This exhibit features photographs of the Bugge family, the clam cannery, and the Bugge's other commercial exploits that included a mercantile/post office in Sequim, and a ship-docking wharf and multiple businesses at Port Williams. The exhibit also features artifacts from the clam cannery and Bugge mansion that once stood at Washington Harbor. The Bugge Cannery Company at Washington Harbor, a once-bustling clam canning operation, is now the site of the Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory. The book "Faded Treasures, Vibrant Lives," a family memoir written by Bugge family historian Pamala Kay Grender is available for purchase in the Museum Store.
