In accordance with the Museum & Arts Center's mission statement, the collection should reflect the history of the development of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, including the current and historical communities of Agnew, Blue Mountain, Blyn, Carlsborg, Dungeness, Happy Valley, Jamestown, Port Williams, Sequim and Washington Harbor, and the lives and achievements of its people. The items in the collection must have historical or research significance that contribute to the understanding of life in this area, both now and in the past. For more information about the sort of items the MAC accepts into its collection, please read the full Collection Policy. The MAC does not accept the following: * Items on long-term loan (due to liability reasons)
* Items that must be permanently exhibited
* Items appearing to have belonged to a Native American tribal member
* Items that are suspected of being obtained through nefarious methods
* Items without clear title (unclear ownership)
* Items of an endangered species
To donate an item, please visit the DeWitt Building Monday, Wed. and Friday from 9 am to noon.
